Roman Ondak at the Temporary Stedelijk

A beautifully simple project to share today. Slovakian artist Roman Ondák has created a ‘living infographic’ at the Temporary Stedelijk within the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.

The project, named Measuring the Universe, invites visitors to plot their height on the walls which, in turn and over a period of time, will start to reveal the mean average; a small individual gesture exposing a vast piece of data.

The ever increasing blackness of the line (caused by the overlapping of plotters’ names) creates a delightful and mesmerising narrative.
