I have a PhD in Human Geography from the University of Exeter. Drawing on the diverse experiences gained from a BA in Literature and Philosophy and an MSc in Climate Change, my PhD explored how participatory methods can offer insight into the complex social dimensions of climate change engagement. Alongside my PhD I worked on a series of projects and events focused on learning beyond academic spaces. My experience teaching research methods and public engagement on a variety of masters and undergraduate level courses has helped me develop into a skilled facilitator. My approach focuses on developing individuals’ practice-based skills to support their work.
