WHY IS SCIENCE BEAUTIFUL?

We were commissioned by the Met Office to develop and deliver a workshop that brought scientists and creatives together to explore the interface between art and science in response to the Beautiful Science Exhibition at the British Library.

The workshop used a variety of creative exercises to explore concepts of identity, beauty and collaboration. We curated the attendees into interdisciplinary working groups and invited them to share their work with each other. Through their conversations the groups discovered new common interests and explored the creative potential for communications creating impact with data.

You can read some of the feedback on the day below and you can check out our Storify of the event here.
