The Butterfly Effect is the pilot project for the Creative Data series.
The Butterfly Effect project took place between January 2009 and early 2010, with the main design installation being the centre piece of The First Norwich and Norfolk Sustainable Living Festival 22-28 May 2009
For The Butterfly Effect Creative Data collaborated with the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research at the University of East Anglia. The objective was to select a climate research project being undertaken at UEA and find ways of creatively communicating that work in a public space.
The installation was designed to act as a catalyst for conversation and debate in the local Norwich and Broadland communities about the future of the local area in relation to climate change.
